Grateful for 2015!
It was wonderful to have the entire family gather in Connecticut for Bryan’s wedding. As a parent it is so rewarding to have meaningful time with your adult children and grandchildren, and to enjoy seeing life through their eyes. Our kids and are our most precious gift, and with each passing year we appreciate more and more the opportunity given to us to be their parents.
We send our love and best wishes in this season of gratitude and love.
Steve and Jeanne

CARA in Richmond
In anticipation of losing her self-employed flexibility as a historical researcher, Cara spent a month in Costa Rica studying Spanish and enjoying gorgeous naturaleza. After seven years in Arlington, VA, she packed up and moved to Richmond, VA to begin a three-year doctoral program in physical therapy at Virginia Commonwealth University. Cara has discovered that her roots in Richmond run deep and has visited three of the homes that her great-grandmother lived in 100 years ago, as well as the Book of Mormon that her great-grandfather donated to the Library of Virginia when he was serving as a missionary. She has quickly adopted the use of the word y'all.

DAVE, KYLIE & Kate in New York City
Dave & Kylie are enjoying what will most likely be their last year in New York City. Dave's much-anticipated dental school graduation is coming up in May! He's looking forward to the next step in his career, which will hopefully be a 4-year residency in Oral Maxiofacial Surgery. After over 20 years of formal education, he's more than ready to move on from the books!
Kylie gave birth to Kate Caroline Whiting on June 7. She has continued to keep up her photography and design business, but has mostly been consumed with her new role as mom. She loves showing Kate the wonders of New York City.
Becoming parents to Kate has definitely been the highlight of the year for both Dave and Kylie. Kate is easy-going, calm, and happy in nature. She's currently 6 months old and showing more personality with each day!

BRYAN & VERONICA in Washington, DC
Baby Kate wasn't the only addition to the crew this year -- Veronica Rosdahl joined the Whiting family on June 26, 2015! Married in the Manhattan LDS temple, Bryan and Veronica enjoyed a picture-perfect wedding day and a tropical getaway to Maui for their honeymoon. Bryan finished his bachelors and masters degrees in statistics at BYU in April, while Veronica is set to graduate this upcoming spring with a degree in psychology and Spanish. The two live in Washington, D.C., where Bryan consults lawyers and Veronica helps liberate victims of human trafficking.
